Legend Fires North West Stages Rally 2009

2010 Rally Overview

The 2010 Legend Fires North West Stages Rally is a 'Multi-Venue Tarmacadam Rally' which begins Friday 5th February 2010 and finishes Saturday 6th February 2010.

This is the thirteenth running of this highly popular rally which is once again a qualifying round of The Welsh National Tarmacadam Championship, The ANWCC PEC Tyres Stage Rally Championship, The Kent Cams ANCC Rally Championship, The SD34 Rally Championship.

The event is recognised as the best opportunity for rally crews in the North West of England to sample a true sealed surface event which this year will include five separate venues giving a total of approximately 80 stage miles with a compact road route. This has been confirmed in recent years having been voted best rally in the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship 3 times and once in the Welsh National Tarmacadam Championship.

The rally's organisers represent some of the best Motor Clubs in the Region and all are well versed in the art of providing tough and demanding rallies, whilst still allowing competitors and spectators a full days enjoyment.

Our aim is to offer a real challenge to the competitor, an action packed day for spectators and in the process raise a significant amount of money for a number of charities the main benefactor being the Marie Curie Cancer Care Charity.

Our efforts have resulted in around £80,000 going to Cancer charities from the past events and our aim is to continue this with significant improvements year on year.
